Residents are warned to prepare for yet another heatwave, set to hit Gauteng on Friday.
The South African Weather Service has predicted that temperatures will reach 37 degrees, in parts of the province, on Friday and remain at this level until Monday.
Today the weather service warned of high discomfort values as a result of hot and humid weather.
Residents are urged to take precautions when travelling and be sure their vehicles and animals have appropriate shelter and water.
