Daring thieves caught
Five daring suspects were caught breaking into cars outside the offices of the EMPD Loss Control and Investigations Unit.

Members of the unit noticed four men sauntering around the parking lot at the corner of Margaret and Voortrekker roads.
One broke from the group and was observed peeping into parked vehicles.
Seemingly suspecting that they were being observed, the four disappeared from the parking area.
An hour after the four men’s disappearance, it emerged that a silver grey LDV Toyota had been broken into and a laptop and a GPS device stolen.
On Monday, March 14, around midday, information gathered led to the arrest of three suspects – two in Tembisa and one in Ivory Park.
The fourth arrestee was pointed out by the three suspects as the person to whom the stolen laptop and GPS device were sold.
The three suspects were charged with breaking into motor vehicles and theft, with the fourth slapped with a charge of buying stolen property. The charges were registered at Kempton Park police station.
All four suspects, whose ages are between 26 and 40, are expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon.
