Hair salon deals dagga

Police arrest one, seize dagga from hair salon.

Working on a tip-off received from the community about drug dealing, police officers visited a hair salon in Dukathole, on Thursday.

Upon their arrival at the business, in Selane Street, the Germiston SAPS crime prevention members found the owner of the salon present.

They searched his premises and discovered a bucket containing small black bags filled with dagga, weighing 1.2kg.

The 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of dagga and detained at the Germiston Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.

The acting station commander for the Germiston police, Col Sevha Shiburi, congratulated Consts Emmanuel Maake, Tebogo Choung and Dumesani Madubula on their exceptional police work, that led to the arrest.
