Water restrictions no longer in place
No water restrictions are in place at the moment in Ekurhuleni.
The GCN has had a number of queries from residents about the current state of water restrictions in the metro.
The metro instituted water restrictions in November, last year.
Themba Gadebe, spokesman for the metro said, “The metro is currently not implementing any water restrictions.
“We do, however, encourage businesses and residents to conserve water by implementing measures such as refraining from irrigation activities between 8am and 4pm.”
