Support Reach For A Dream’s annual Slipper Day

The Reach For A Dream Foundation is offering one lucky Gauteng school the chance to win a private concert featuring three top SA artists.

Reach For A Dream is calling on all communities around Gauteng to support Slipper Day by buying a sticker for R10 and wearing your favourite pair of slippers to school, work (or out-and-about) on August 5.

As a special Slipper Day challenge, schools across Gauteng are being challenged to sell as many Slipper Day stickers as possible for the chance to win all-inclusive prizes.

The school that sells the most stickers will win a private concert, featuring three chosen guests from a list of top South African artists.

In addition, the principal of the winning school and teacher from the winning class will each win a luxury weekend away for two people to one of South Africa’s major tourist cities, including flights and accommodation.

For 28 years, the Reach For A Dream Foundation has been making dreams come true for South African children fighting life-threatening diseases, including cancer, cystic fibrosis and heart conditions.

The foundation hopes to never turn down a dream, but this ambitious goal is only possible through fund-raising and the support of as many South Africans as possible, allowing it to bring some joy and inspiration to ill children.

Stickers can be ordered from any Reach For A Dream branch and will be delivered straight to the school for quick and easy distribution.

Schools who wish to take part can email info@slipperday.co.za with their delivery address for a full information pack.
