The metro has given the GCN comment regarding the current power outage in the Primrose area.
Areas have been affected since about 4.15pm, last night, with power eventually being restored by midnight to all affected areas, only to go off again at 6.10am this morning.
The metro told the GCN that the power supply interruption affecting residents in Primrose is due to a fault at one of the substations.
The affected areas include:
- Primrose East
- Symhurst.
- Primrose proper.
A team of technicians are currently on site carrying out repairs.
Power supply is expected to be fully restored by 2pm this afternoon.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience caused by the interruption.
