During a stop-and-search in Katlehong on Wednesday, police arrested 15 suspects.
The accused were arrested on several different charges.
These included, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, intimidation, possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, malicious damage to property and possession of drugs.
All of the suspects arrested in the operation, held by members of the Katlehong police’s Crime Prevention Unit, were detained at the Katlehong Police Station.
They were due to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
