The Janine van Wyk (JVW ) Schools League came to an end last weekend. The league, supported by Ekurhuleni Sports and Recreation, saw 109 girls’ football teams from schools around Gauteng participating in matches that ran from May to September. The final matches were played at the Germiston City Sports Grounds, on Sunday, September 25.
