Community taught about crime

Members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk and Primrose police took to the streets of Primrose to teach the community about crime.

The number of housebreakings and thefts has increased in Primrose Sector Two and Three.

This is according to the Primrose police.

In a bid to educate the community of the crimes affecting the areas, members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk and Primrose police took to the streets.

Officers and youth desk members appealed to the community to be vigilant and increase their personal security to combat the threat.

During the crime prevention campaign, over 400 safety tips were handed out.

“We hope they will be of help to the community,” said Sgt Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose police.
