Collision leaves 10 injured

Netcare 911 paramedics attended the scene of a collision in Wadeville on Wednesday.

At least 10 people sustained minor injuries when a taxi and a vehicle collided at the intersection of Osborn and Rendell roads, in Wadeville, on Wednesday morning.

The collision happened at 6.10am.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the taxi rolled on impact and collided with a robot before coming to a halt,” said Athlenda Mathe, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.

“Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside other services on scene.”

All the injured were stabilised on scene and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
