While walking in the Zuma Section of Katlehong recently, a man was allegedly assaulted and robbed.
“The victim told the police that he while walking in the early hours of the morning he met four unknown men.
“They allegedly attacked him, hitting him with open hands, before stealing his cellphone and running away,” explained Capt Mega Ndobe, of the Ekurhuleni West cluster.
A case of robbery was opened at the Katlehong Police Station and officers began searching for the suspects.
“Detectives received information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts and were able to arrest all four men, who are aged between 18 and 25 years old,” said Ndobe.
The men will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
