Primrose police pleased with recent conviction

Primrose detective Sgt Sam Ngqoleka was credited with assisting in the successful conviction of Timothy Nkosi.

Timothy Nkosi (46) was found guilty on four different charges in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, recently.

Nkosi was charged and convicted for business robbery, for which he was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment, possession of an unlicensed firearm, for which he was sentenced to five years imprisonment, possession of live ammunition, for which he was sentenced to three years imprisonment and attempted murder, for which he was sentenced to seven years imprisonment.

All four sentences will be served concurrently.

Primrose detective Sgt Sam Ngqoleka, who was the investigating office, was commended for his hard work which helped in securing this conviction.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked Ngqoleka for his effort and and dedication to the case and encouraged others to learn from his success.
