The Primrose police arrested 18 suspects from March 6 to 12, in the Primrose area.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released from the Primrose Police Station.
The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, common robbery, possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, interfering with police duties and shoplifting.
The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.
Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons; some have paid admission of guilt fines and been released and others will appear in court soon.
