Technicians attend to the Germiston CBD water interruption: https://bit.ly/2psAu7x

The metro informed Germiston residents that the water supply interruption that affected parts of the area was caused by a major burst on a main water pipe. The pipe burst on April 10, in Keswick Road in the Germiston CBD. Rand Water technicians worked overnight to isolate the affected pipe and worked hard to repair the issues and restore water to the area.

  • Jolanta Marynowska, “Water pipes are suddenly bursting everywhere, what is going on, sabotage or what?”
  • Leroy Scott, “Absolutely no communication from the metro on when water can be expected to be restored. Has anyone visited their Facebook and Twitter pages, there are no updates from them there either.”
