According to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose police 27 suspects were arrested from August 28 to September 3.
The accused were charged for a number of different crimes.
These included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, malicious damage to property, house break-in and theft, fraud, possession and distribution of child pornographic material and warrant of arrest.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.
Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
