Primrose police clamp down on crime

Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police reportedly arrested 40 suspects in the Primrose area between November 6 and 12.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence, rape, dealing in liquor without a licence, theft, malicious damage to property, warrant of arrest and contempt of court.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successful arrests.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
