The Katlehong police have continued their crime-fighting efforts through daily stop-and-search operations.
During an operation held last Monday members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station arrested eight suspects.
The accused were arrested for a number of different crimes.

Charges included:
• Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 3
• Common assault: 2
• Murder: 1
• Sexual assault: 1
• Shoplifting: 1
The suspects were arrested and taken to the Katlehong Police Station.
They have since appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
