Eighteen suspects were arrested by police in the Primrose area, between February 2 and 6.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.
The accused were arrested for a number of different crimes.

Charges included possession of drugs, possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, theft of a motor vehicle, theft, malicious damage to property and contempt of court.
The Primrose SAPS acting station commander Lt Col Mbhazima Maswanganyi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
