During a recent interview with Germiston High School principal Renée Goosen, she shared her and the school’s excitement that rugby had been reintroduced to the school.

“We reintroduced rugby to the school which the boys are really enjoying and we find the sport is helping to create a lot of school spirit,” she said. The sport was reintroduced in 2016 but is celebrating its first full season this year, and the boys are not only enjoying the sport but are excelling on the field.
