Local school educates its children about their rights

Child Protection Week was supported at Heavenly Flowers Pre-Primary School.

Heavenly Flowers Pre-Primary School participated in and supported the Child Protection Week Campaign.

The learners were informed about their rights and they then made a poster to send out a message to parents and the community.

“This issue is close to our hearts as we work with children on a daily basis.

“We cannot imagine the things children have to go through in a cruel world,” said Natasha Viljoen, on behalf of Heavenly Flowers.

“Our message to the community would be – ‘speak up, get involved and make a difference’.

“Even though we know this week was to raise awareness, we will keep urging everyone to protect their children every second of every day as they are our future.”
