Are you a lover of fine wine and great art?
Then the 2018 Ekurhuleni Arts and Wine Festival is the place for you.
The festival will be returning to the Protea Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport on September 7 and 8.

The third annual event promises to be a spectacle for arts and craft lovers, wine connoisseurs and food lovers with a new twist giving local residents an opportunity to showcase and sell their amazing work, from beaded work to art.

“Over the years we have always been about giving the youth of Ekurhuleni employment opportunities, and for our inaugural event, we trained them to be hosts at the event.
“This year we have opened up the platform for creatives by setting up stalls with the assistance of the metro for them to sell their products,” said Tshepang Lutshaba, CEO of Asakhe Events.
Launched in 2016 as the Wine and Whiskey Classic, now renamed the Ekurhuleni Arts and Wine Festival, the festival attracts more than a thousand visitors each year.
