Task team nab man for dagga possession

A 30-year-old man was arrested by officers from the Germiston SAPS Task Team and charged with the possession of dagga.

While on a routine patrol in Germiston South, last Thursday, officers from the Germiston SAPS Task Team spotted a 30-year-old man, who had previously been arrested for possession of dagga.

They stopped the man, who became noticeably nervous, and asked to search him.

During the search, officers found a number of small plastic bags containing dagga in his possession.

He was arrested and taken to the Germiston Police Station where he was charged with possession of dagga.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
