The Primrose police arrested 18 suspects between August 30 and September 5.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.
Crimes included possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, rape, attempted rape, driving under the influence of alcohol, shoplifting and dealing in liquor without a licence.
The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where some had their cases postponed for various reasons while others paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
