Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston couldn’t be prouder of former matric learner Janye du Plessis who received the award for the best Grade 12 learner of 2018 for Afrikaans First Additional Language at the Ekurhuleni South District Awards evening, held at the Germiston City Hall on Wednesday.

Janye achieved 97 per cent for the subject.
“We are very proud of her and congratulate her on this achievement,” said the school’s principal, Retha du Toit.
