Minor injuries in Main Road accident
Motorcycle driver and passenger suffer minor injuries in collision.
Commuters travelling on Main Road, last Thursday, would have noticed a fire engine, ambulance and EMPD patrol vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
The reason, a collision between an SUV and a motorcycle.
“An Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) rescue team from Primrose Fire Station responded to the scene immediately after the receiving the call,” explained William Ntladi, district manager media liaison for DEMS.
“On arrival, the crew identified two patients, the motorcyclist and his passenger.
“Both patients were found to have minor injuries.”

No one in the SUV was reportedly hurt in the collision.

The scene was handed over to local authorities for further investigation.
