Stop-and-search operations continue in Katlehong

Katlehong SAPS continue their efforts to curb crime in their community.

Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit officers continued their crime prevention efforts in their area by holding a stop-and-search operation.

During the operation, last Monday, three suspects were arrested for different crimes.

The men were charged with theft, possession of drugs and common assault, respectively.

They appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.

Katlehong SAPS acting station commander Col Doctor Sibuyi appealed to the community to help in the fight against crime and to report criminal activities to the police.
