Help service centre by donating wooden coat hangers and wool

Rest-a-While needs the community’s help with special Mother’s Day project.

Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly in Primrose is in need of wooden coat hangers (old or new) and four-ply wool.

The centre is busy with a project where they are covering the hangers for a Mother’s Day function.

“We would like to give each elderly woman a beautiful covered hanger,” said Trudy Carreira, manager of Rest-a-While.

“We have one of our elderly members knitting the covers for us so our challenge is collecting enough hangers and wool.

“If we can humbly ask the community for help regarding this project.”

For more information or to make a donation contact Trudy on 011 828 3059.

Alternatively drop the hangers and wool off at Rest-a-While situated on the corner of Shamrock Road and Churchill Avenue in Primrose.
