The Primrose police arrested 20 suspects between March 7 and 13.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, statutory rape, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol, house break-in and theft, reckless and negligent driving and warrant of arrest.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
