Twenty-nine suspects nabbed by Primrose SAPS

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 29 suspects between March 21 and March 27.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, tampering with infrastructure, reckless and negligent driving, dealing in liquor without a licence, rape, possession of suspected stolen property, armed robbery, possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition.

The Primrose SAPS acting station commander, Lt Col Solly Maswanganyi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
