The Katlehong police ended March with six weekend arrests.
The suspects were arrested during several different operations held between March 29 and 31.

The accused were charged with various crimes.
Charges included murder, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, malicious damage to property and house break-in.
Katlehong SAPS acting station commander Col Doctor Sibuyi was pleased with the arrests made, but admitted he had hoped for more.
He further encouraged the community to report crimes as soon as they happen.

“We need to work together to fight crime,” he said.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
