Katlehong police continue their crime prevention efforts

Katlehong SAPS arrested three suspects during a daily stop-and-search in their policing precinct.

Officers from the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit took to the streets last Tuesday for a stop-and-search operation.

During the operation three suspects were arrested.

The accused were charged with various offences including assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, dealing in drugs and possession of drugs.

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for a number of different reasons.

Katlehong SAPS station commander Brig Sammy Tambo called for the community to report crimes and criminal activities in the area, without fear that they will be targeted by the offenders.
