Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) responded to an accident scene on the corner of Kraft Road and Limpopo Street last Wednesday morning at 6.46am, involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

Man allegedly found in possession of nyaope

While following up on a tip-off in the Makause informal settlement recently, Primrose police noticed a man acting suspiciously.

Be alert and aware when entering or leaving your property – urge police

The Primrose police are urging residents to take special precautions. “We are appealing to the community to be careful, especially when entering or leaving their premises,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Death still a mystery three years later

It is said a parent should never have to bury a child. For Christo and Marchelle Brits, who were left reeling after the death of their daughter Celia three years ago, this is especially true as they still struggle with many unanswered questions. Celia was just 22 years old when she died.

SPCA has exciting events lined up for Mandela Day

In celebration of Mandela Day this year, the Germiston SPCA will hold an exciting week of events. In the past, the society only did an outreach project at one location, but this year staff are aiming to assist as many owners and animals as possible.
