Team tackles crime issues in Marlands and Woodmere
Officers from the Primrose Police Station, members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk and local community patrollers held an awareness campaign to address crime issues in Marlands and Woodmere.
Burglaries, theft of vehicles and theft are all on the rise in Marlands and Woodmere.
This is according to the Primrose police.

In an effort to raise awareness and sensitise the community to these crimes, a team made up of officers from the Primrose Police Station, members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk and local community patrollers took this initiative to the streets.
During the recent awareness campaign the team handed out safety tip pamphlets.

“We once again appeal to the community not to park on the pavements even for a short period of time,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

He further thanked the local community patrollers and youth desk members for helping with the campaign.
“We hope the community will consider using the safety tips,” said Maome.
