The accused were charged with various offences.
Charges included murder, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, shoplifting, theft, contravening a court order, malicious damage to property, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for a number of different reasons.

Katlehong SAPS acting station commander Brig Sammy Thambo was pleased with the arrests made over the weekend.
He is, however, concerned about the number of illegal taverns within the precinct as he believes alcohol abuse is linked to the crime in the area.
