Several suburbs in Germiston are still without electricity this afternoon (Friday).
It is reported that the power went off at 10pm on Thursday night due to equipment failure.

The affected areas include, but are not limited to, Lambton, Hazeldene, Estera and Hazel Park.
“Metro technicians are reportedly on site and power should be restored by 4pm,” said Ward 39 councillor Alta de Beer.
