Fun-filled spring market promises something for everyone

Community encouraged to attend fun-filled spring market day fund-raiser.

Liné du Preez (16), from Marlands, has been selected to attend the Spellbinding Netball Tour in Orlando, Florida, USA, in December 2020 (see GCN, May 31).

This once-in-a-lifetime tournament, unfortunately, comes with a large price tag.

Liné will continue her tour fund-raising efforts with a spring market day on September 28.

The day, which promises to have something for everyone, will be held at the Sunnyridge Primary School sports fields located at 54 Mandarin Road, in Primrose.

“We have had an overwhelming amount of applications for stalls and this day is going to be amazing,” said Liné’s mother, Loma.

In addition to the variety of stalls, there will be a variety of food on offer, a beer tent (by Bonni’s Sports Bar) and a children’s play area (by Kidz Co Entertainment).
