Busy weekend for Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 30 suspects between November 7 and 13.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included house break-in and theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, possession of drugs, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, shoplifting, malicious damage to property and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
