The Primrose police arrested 16 suspects between January 9 and 15.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.
The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, domestic violence, dealing in dagga, attempted murder, reckless and negligent driving, possession of drugs, theft and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS acting station commander Lt Col Solly Maswanganyi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
