A woman recently opened a case of domestic violence against her 30-year-old boyfriend after he allegedly attacked her.
The incident reportedly took place in Wannenburg.

“The complainant told police she had lent her boyfriend R100 which he had promised to pay back to her when she returned home from work,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“When she returned home that evening she went to ask him for the money.
“Without saying a word to her the suspect allegedly began kicking and hitting her.
“The victim claimed the suspect told her to report the incident to the police as he was not scared of jail.”

The suspect was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.
He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
