The Primrose police arrested 23 suspects between February 6 and 12.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, illegal possession of gold-bearing material, house break-in and theft, kidnapping, shoplifting, trespassing, theft and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
