Everyone must abide by the rules

Lockdown rules must not be applied to only a few in poor areas alone if the government wants to eradicate the spread of the virus in the townships.

I live in Vosloorus and I am worried about the behaviour of the police and the army towards people who are violating the lockdown restrictions daily and are not arrested.

If the rest of us can stay home and abide by the rules and regulations imposed by the government, why are others seemingly exempted from breaking the law?

I have witnessed the army and police ignoring people who violate these restrictions.

In some instances, at some shops and malls, I have seen the police and members of the public walking around without masks on.

If this whole lockdown about the Covid-19 virus is true, why are the rules and regulations applied selectively?

This makes the whole thing about people having to stay at home and adhere to the rules of the lockdown very difficult, if not utterly impossible to take seriously.
