Primrose SAPS arrested a suspect (45) for possession of drugs in Makause informal settlement on August 23.
“While patrolling the area, officers noticed a man walking around, holding a syringe in his hand,” said Primrose SAPS spokesperson Sgt Style Maome.

Police officers stopped him and requested to search him.They found a plastic container with a white substance believed to be drugs.
When they asked the suspect, he confirmed that it was nyaope. He was arrested and detained at Primrose Police Station.
