Seven suspects were arrested for the possession of nyaope on Pretoria Road at Makause informal settlement in Primrose on November 5.
Primrose SAPS communications officer Sgt Styles Maome said the arrests were made during an operation.
“Police were conducting a foot patrol and stop-and-search operations when they stopped and searched the men.

“On searching them, police found small plastic bags believed to contain the nyaope drug.
“They were all arrested and detained at Primrose SAPS and they will appear in Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Maome.
