Eight newly appointed superintendents at EMPD welcomed

Kobeli Mokheseng, EMPD spokesperson, said the six men and two women enjoy first-line supervision experience as law enforcers.

The Ekurhuleni Metro Chief of Police, Jabulani Mapiyeye, and his management team introduced eight new superintendents on December 2 at the EMPD head office in Kempton Park.

“They are well known for being responsible, disciplined and always displaying professionalism.”

Mokheseng said the officers were former inspectors from units such as the task team, internal affairs, first responder, fleet, SWAT, training academy and community safety forum.

The head of department, deputy chief of police, directors and chief superintendents who attended the session welcomed and congratulated Supt Neville Taylor, Supt Noko Monyela, Supt Trinity Mokoana, Supt Marlon Govender, Supt Vishan Singh, Supt Puleng Lekgoathi, Supt Tshepo Koahela and Supt Mandla Nyathi on their new positions.
