Robbers flee with licensing documents

Elsburg SAPS is investigating a case of business robbery that occurred at the Wadeville Licensing Department on Osborn Road.

“It’s alleged that on April 16 at about 10.30pm, a group of about 10 suspects forced the door of the guard room open and two security officers on duty were held at gunpoint and then tied up,” said Elsburg SAPS spokesperson Daphney Phooko.

The suspects then proceeded to the main building, forced the burglar bars open to gain entrance through a window.
