Nursery calls on community to assist with donation for Epworth

Once again the community is rallying to help Epworth Children’s Home. The 102-year-old home is in dire need of assistance. The home houses 68 children and has six care staff. As Covid-19 is affecting the economy, the home is feeling the pinch as regular donors are not able to give as much as they used.

As Covid-19 is affecting the economy, the home is feeling the pinch as regular donors are not able to give as much as they used to.

Right now their food stocks are low and they need to stock up.

Smurfy’s Nursery School in Albermarle is heading the call and inviting others to join them.

They are appealing to the public to assist. Any form of donations, food, toiletries, bedding and clothing will be appreciated.

Donations can be dropped at Smurfy’s Nursery School, 8 Rohrs Road, Albemarle.

The school has been collecting donations for the past four weeks and will be delivering the donations in the first week of July.
