Elsburg police recover looted goods
While continuing with their duties, two suspects aged between 36 and 42 were found drinking in public and they too were also arrested for contravening the Disaster Management Act.
Elsburg SAPS under the leadership of Vispol Commander Capt Matsobane Mokgopha and crime prevention officers embarked on an operation following the looting of spaza shops last week.
“Different residential properties were searched following information from the public. Three suspects, aged between 17 and 26, were arrested for possession of suspected stolen properties and public violence at Graceland,” said Elsburg spokesperson Dapheney Phooko.
