“The level of talent I see on the pitch every day is amazing. I won’t take anything away from the other players because they are all talented and brilliant at their own level, but there is an eye-catching brilliance I have not witnessed in a long time in a player,” said Killer.
“Kgodiso Selemala already trains with the seniors and he has shown improvements. He was nervous at first, but now he plays well with them at training.”
Selemala and Thabang Mashaba are both young players in Burning Stars FC’s development side, the u-11 team.

They are both in Grade Four and already have dreams of playing in the big leagues.
Selemala said he would love to one day play for Orlando Pirates, as it is his favourite team.
“I am inspired by Orlando Pirates player Vincent Pule. He plays a good football passing game for me and is fast on the ball,” said Selemala.
Mashaba said he attends Hawks Academy and is always early at training.

“I love soccer, it is a good sport. My father played soccer as well, so it is something that runs in the family,” said Mashaba.
“I love Keagan Dolly, who now plays for Kaizer Chiefs, and that’s the team I would love to play for. I am a striker, so I would love to be the PSL top goal scorer.”
Ncube added he is afraid the two players might meet up one day against each other in a derby match, judging by the teams of choice and positions they play on the field.
“Selemala plays position two, which is defending, and Mashaba plays attacking. If their dreams come true, they might face off in the biggest matches this country has to offer. I would love to see that,” said the coach.
The u-11 boys’ team trains four times a week from Monday to Thursday and plays on weekends.
