SAPS donates 200 food parcels to Makause with the help of Tzu-Chi Foundation

Primrose SAPS, Ekupholeni NGO representatives, church forums, Tzu-Chi Foundation and Primrose Youth Desk visited Makause informal settlement on December 2 to donate food parcels and share safety tips with the community.

Primrose police spokesperson Sgt Styles Maome said they are aware of the challenges the community face.

“There are some people who go to sleep hungry, so we wanted to assist. It’s the festive season and everyone deserves a helping hand every now and then,” said Maome.

200 food parcels were handed out.

Primrose SAPS station commander Lt-Col Mbazima Maswanganyi thanked the members of the Tzu-Chi Foundation.

“We will keep on organising outreaches to strengthen our partnership,” said Maswanganyi.
