Primrose Technical High improves on pass rate

Primrose High improves its pass mark.

 

Primrose Technical High School saw a 5% improvement from its 2020 matric pass rate, achieving 92.7%.

The principal congratulated the Class of 2021.

“Well done to the Grade 12 teachers for not giving up on the learners. We are also very proud of the Class of 2021 for showing the hunger to succeed,” said principal Andre Grobler.

The school’s top achiever, Warren Leigh Naidoo, achieved an average of 93%, with seven distinctions.

“He is a hard worker. He can now study anywhere in the world and be what he wants to be,” said Grobler.

Naidoo said he plans to study chartered accountancy at Wits University.

Naidoo was followed by Michell Katlym Beeby, who achieved an 89% average with three distinctions.

Paige Nistascia Soobramoney obtained 81% and three distinctions and Natalie Paidamoyo Neshena had two distinctions with a 79% average. Kiara Lee Kelly had a 78% average and four distinctions and Jemina Musao achieved three distinctions.
